Occupational Therapy

A pediatric Occupational Therapist (OT) helps children build the skills they need to participate in their daily activities (occupations) at home, school, and in the community. For children, these occupations often include playing, learning, socializing, and taking care of themselves.

Skills we can Help Children Develop

OT and OTA services may be delivered across a variety of environments, including school settings, daycares, preschools, community programs, homes, and clinic-based settings. Services are tailored to the child’s needs and the functional demands of each environment.

At PlayWorks Therapy, we help children build confidence and independence in the activities that matter most — playing, learning, socializing, and caring for themselves. Our therapists focus on supporting your child’s growth through playful, sensory-informed, and goal-directed activities.
